hi this might sound fussy/annoying to some people. but do you think i should upgrade my cpu/ram/board to get some more FPS on games. just that on half-life 2 /counter-strike source even tho i got a x800 pro 256mb my fps can drop down badly like 30-40 sometimes lower when lots of action happening. want to know if its worth me upgrading my cpu/mb/ram or just live with it ? :S. I mean my pc not bad spec... and my m8s call me power hungry :P guess i am what you people think? :?:

To be honest robbo, its probably not worth it.I roughly remember your specs from other post and if i remember correctly, you have a fairly strong system. If it makes you feel any better, i have a friend with a 3 gig p4 800 mhz fbs,gig of ddr 3200 and 256 meg gforce and he gets chops on HL2 from time to time.I think his worse is the cut scene from your first attempt at teleporting. There's alot of things happening there that kills frame rates.
