Hi all,

off in a few weeks on a well deserved "business" trip to Japan, does anyone know of any problems with buying PC hardware in Japan and using it on my PC in UK? apperently everything is cheaper over there, also will digital camera memory cards brought there work in my UK camera?

thanks for your help

Matt

The hardware should work fine,it all pretty much comes from oversea's anyway.Your biggest problem will be knowing what your buying and getting drivers/software in english (unless you read japanese).

Customs when you get back might eat you alive. You can buy stuff over there and have them ship to your home address. Some of them are very creative. They will write a very low shipping invoice price to get you through customs cheaper.

Probably the biggest drawback is a lack of a warrenty on the product bought.
