heard the noise

my cpu fan is making a louder noise does this mean its getting ready to quit.

it probably just means that it is wearing.. you can buy replacement fans quite cheaply.. or you could always try stripping it down and cleaning it out properly.. often they get gunked up with muck and dust.. and this puts them off balance.. causing noise..
