I know ive posted many many times about graphic card problems, but lately its bugging me, on CS source everynow and then like every couple of mins a graphical triangle shape appears, then the game gets very laggy :S. I think its called atifacts? when this happens. is there anyway to fix this or is my graphic card overheating or busted. thanks, Rob.

Hi kes,

Well i cant really screenshot it, because it only happens during game play at certain times, like flashes then goes off? yea i have AVG anti virus running. I just installed new cpu today, still happens... but had to take my 1gb of ram out and use corsair 512 ram because the exlixier ram wasnt running at 400 FSB so i guess it wasnt very good ram...

Anyways i re installed drivers for vid card still happens. and still the laggyness even tho upgraded cpu.. maybe i damaged my mother board when i changed the case a few weeks back?

But no idea of checking if i have damaged anything ? if theres a way id like to know :) .

Sorry if i havnt explained in much detail kes, Rob.

okay.. fresh tack on this one..

first.. disable the AVG scanner.. and make sure your screen saver and power saving options are turned off,..

which drivers are you using?? ATI or omega? what version number (as reported by DXdiag is the easiest way.. Also what version of directx too..

We will crack it

only thing unusual is D:\Stream\Stream.exe is that some kind of benchmark program you have installed on your D drive?? could be something a little more malicious though..

and driver versions please.. catalyst driver ver. directx etc :)
