GFX card probs

I changed my gfx card out for a new one today and now I can't pick up the replacement as new hardware, its as though there is nothing there. Have checked BIOS and its set to hunt for AGP first, have also tried old card back in and it doen't get found now either.

Have I killed my AGP slot? :(

Reading the BIOS using the onboard GFX.

I didn't uninstall the old GFX card jus hauled it out, will that have caused this? The old one isn't in device manager now, jus the onboard.
