Raid

My MOBO, which is the Soyo KT333 Dragon ultra platinum, is Raid capable. I recently had a HD fail so I needed to re-install Windows and all the good stuff that goes with it.
For some reason I was getting system freezes when running some CPU taxing video programs. I was trying to eliminate where the problem may lie as I didn't have the issue prior to the HD crash.
I have installed all the Raid drivers and it was working fine. I then decided to disable it to see if it may have been causing a conflict...again...just trying to eliminate possiblities.
Since the condition hadn't changed, I then wanted to enable Raid so I could use all my HD's. Every time I right click on it in Device Manager, the second I hit the mouse button, the system restarts and Raid is still disabled.
Suggestions?
