track names

hey every 1, ive got an album on the computer, and all the songs where named liek 01.mp3, 02.mp3, 03.mp3 n so on, so i spent ages writing the titles out, but when i play them in windows media player they still say 01.mp3.....

I know if i wanted i could right click each mp3 and change the title thru that way, but that will take me forever, the album is 3 cd's long, thats y it took so long in the first place.
So what im asking is there a program or a shortcut i can do to make everything show up properly, i also am gonna put it on my ipod and i want the tracks labled properly.
