OK, i dont' know what the problem is. I'm thinking it's my ram, but i'm uncertain. Give compuer specs at bottom of post.

Anyway the ram I use to have, just stopped working all of a sudden. I had 1 stick of PC3200 512. so since then, i put back the stick of ram i got when i bought my computer, ONly thing i know about it, is that it's a 512mb stick. anyway ...

I can play all the games I have World of Warcraft, Half-Life 2, Rom Total War, just to name a few. And the run perfectly, but whenever I try to play Final Fantasy XI after about 2 minutes of having the game running, my computer just reboots itself w/o warning.

The reason I'm pritty sure it isn't a graphic card problem is because when I was using a card that wasn't good enough, the computer would go to a blue screne with white text for about 3 seconds before rebooting.

WIndows XP Home
NVIDIA GeFORCE FX 5500 OC
512 mb ram (unsure of kind, reason above)
3.2 GH P4 w/HT Tech.t

thanks for the help, need any other computer info just tell me.

There are a number of thing that could be causing this:
Over heating
Bad ram
Video drivers
Video card limits exceeded

First set your system to trap the error:
Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced Tab > Start up and Recovery section >
Settings button > Put a check next to “Write an event to the system log” >
and uncheck “Automatically restart”, now reboot your system.
When it happens again you should get a BSOD (blue screen of death)
with maybe the program or file mentioned at least the error code like 0c000008 0e000000d0 xxxxxxxx xdxxxxxxx
Write down the error and the code and post it back here

To test your Ram download and extract the file to a floppy
boot from the floppy and run the test it will tell you if your ram has any problems.
