wireless network.. low signal

Postby ansmwke » Thu May 19, 2005 8:51 pm

i set up a dlink airplus extreme 802.11g wireless network, and whenever my laptop connects to the router, the signal varies from none to excellent. i keep getting booted on and off. is there a way i can make the signal strong? i looked online and it showed that i should have a strong signla and fast data transfer at this distance. the router is in the basement and my laptop is on the 2nd floor

You might need to add an access point.
It’s not so much the distance but more of the obstructions in the way.
