Nothing is Going Right

Postby fishoutofwater579 » Mon Jul 04, 2005 3:38 pm

I just hooked up my other computer to test the new wireless NIC and it seems to be not working right for some reason. I just booted it and it comes to the POST screen and says that I have an Athlon 1500 which is untrue and then it stops at "checking NVRAM". I don't know what to do at this point I have tried to enter setup but it just sits there. What am I supposed to do? I want to throw these things.

Actually I forgot to Say that I got it fixed. I don't know what I did. I just left the clear cmos jumper on and a day later after I forgot about it and tried booting it continuously I changed the jumper back and it worked again. I just had to reset the cmos time and what not. Thanks for tyring with my freak accident.
