why does my cpu run slow on m y motherboard?

is this normal or have i got a faulty cput i have a p4 ht 2.8 runnin on a microstar ms6787 which has a fsb ratin of 533 an yeah i know the p4s is 800 is this the reason 4 my low performance in properties is sais p4 cpu 2.8 an under it it says 1.41 ghz is this how much power of the cpu im usin? previously on the throne woz a celeron prescott wid a fsb ratin of 533 wot is it? is it? my motherboard needs replacin wid 1 that supports my p4 or do u think my cpu may be faulty? sme1

the specs to your motherboard are right here:
it says ur motherboard supports cpu's with 400mhz or 533mhz Front Side Bus (fbs) only

so do u reckon a change of motherboard would increase performance frm my cpu if i got 1 that supported ht? oh yeah is it true frm 2.8 onward the p4s r all ht?

yeah m8 i just checked the link now it sais my board would support ht wot does that mean? my cpu is ht an it sais it go up 2 3.06ghz on 400/533 ? wot does that mean> i have a 2.8 ht p4 in my machine is the bus on that 800 if so does that matter at all?
