hello everyone, im new today i was hoping that i may get some help with downloading movies, my pc is philips iqon, it does not have a dvd re writer, i just have a cd disc drawer and dvd disc drawer on my modem, my aim is to download movies so that i can put them onto dvd discs to watch on my dvd player. i am a beginner in pc knowledge so any instructions on what i need to buy equipment wise would be great, can i buy any brand or does it have to be philips [the make of my pc] thank you, lisa. p.s in case its relevent i am on windows xp [service pack 2].

Im not sure where you are downloading movies from, but I do believe downloading movies you haven't paid for is illegal.

hi, the movies i want to download are from a proper down load website i do have to pay either per movie or per month , i havent downloaded as yet as i dont know how, thanks.
