Sata vs Pata?
Posted: Thu Jan 05, 2006 8:57 pmalright im going to buy a new hard drive soon and im trying to decide wether a pata or a sata but there is one problem the current motherboar i have will only support sata if i have a riser card and even if i do have a riser card it will only ata 133 but the sata hard drive im looking at is ata 150 and the question of all this is will the ata 150 drive even work on my mobo and if so will i even see any differnce than the pata 133
