I have an Asus A8V-E deluxe NW Motherboard with the K8T890 Chipset. Im looking to buy a Dual Core processor and fit it to this board. On the Asus we site it doesnt say if it supports it, another search reveiled that it not compatable with the Chipset. But a local shop near me says it can support the dual core with a Bios Update, so im a bit confused if it can or cant, does anyone know, and maybe shed some light on the matter for me please. I dont wanna buy a new cpu and blow it up along with my motherboard.
