hi all,

my monitor hinge for my latop is getting fairly weak. Can i fix it myself? how much can i expect to pay for it to get fixed?

I would really need to know a little more about your laptop before I could offer any advice.
Could you post the manufacturer and the model number.

Be forewarned that disassembling anything on a laptop can be tricky at best.
There are plastic tabs and locking devices that are easily broken or damaged.
