Well, first of all my stats are: 128Mb videocard Ati Radeon 9550, 2 Ram sticks 256mb and a 512mb, AMD Sempron 2800+. Ive had a overheating problem now awhile ago, what got solved by my mother, she cleaned my CPU fan, i still cannot believe that my mother would solve it hehe ^^, anyhow, after that my temps were average 40~ on CPU and videocard for awhile, now i see problem again surprise surprise. Instead only that my computer shuts down cause of overheating, it gives me now a blue screen and shuts down altough mainly when i do something like click on a button that connects to other site, or log into World Of Warcraft or anything like that, and not surprisingly, the blue screen says something of " Page_Fault_In_Non_Paged_area or something similar, ive tried to change my page memory and tried even use 1 ram stick on both rams, but none did help, i tried to clean pc, maybe it was still cause of overheating, no still nothing, also to tell ya, my pc is now a real toaster, both heatsinks, videocard and CPU are running like at 60-80 temperature, cant tell really without everest unfortunally. And now im really hopeless what to do? ive checked everything on my hardware, everything is there fine and perfectly placed, awhile ago i had my 512 ram stick altough only half in the slot, so i though that was the problem. Also ive made virus scan with Spybot, Ad-Aware and AVG, all gave me lots of results, ad-aware only trackers, spybot some keyloggers also aswell as AVG gave me some results, cleared all and did a second scan and all fine now, but still problem is there.

So...Anyone got suggestions? ive done pretty much everything possible what ive could think of, and theres still the problem, and my HD has 1/4 of space left, planned to go 1/3 but itll be too hard :X, thanks for suggestions, for instance.

/ Edit, forget to tell that i test temperatures really with my fingers on heatsinks, when im not playing, its really hot but can keep hands on it awhile, when im playing, 10 seconds finger there and its a degree 2 firewound, or whatever. ;)

I'd try replacing the CPU fan. AMD chips run a lot hotter than Intel chips. There are a lot on nice big CPU fans with heat sinks that do a better job than the OEM fans.

CPU heat issues will cause Blue screens and can also corrupt hard drive data, which can be real aggravating.

If you are satified that the CPU fan speed is ok, I would suggest replacing the power supply. They all go bad, it's only a matter of time.

yeah ive readed about power supply problems that they can cause this, especially when you got some more advanced hardware like 128mb videocard and 512mb extra ram on computer that was planned to be rather office computer, now its a good toaster and game runner, but one thing though, ive never got blue screen while i was playing, so i wonder, why it only comes when the cpu is in less usage, etc. internet and such, not when im playing something like halflife 2 with this toaster, and anyhow, my mother is so afraid about power supplys, when i had first time the problem, i asked maybe we replace it, she was so frightened, i barely can keep the case opened :X well, thanks for help

okay now i checked my CPU temp. with motherboard monitor, it told me 54 celcius, what is lots lower than i though, thats about the average temp infact. so maybe it is something else? since it only occurs when im on internet, it maybe is my internet that creates the problem? i once readed that someone had similar problem and solved it with that, not that it actually would do lots better, since internet is what i need to play games :S

well, the blue screen there was 2 diffirent kind of, one had the page fault thing, another told something about duag3ati.dll or something similar.

from some type of Skype plug in, I'm not too sure of the translation though.

So basically, if i delete skype, i wont get anymore blue screens? Cause first of all, skype isnt even mine, i have TS/Vent for speaking, mom uses it really, she doesnt even use it anymore and finally i can prove that it was her fault that these things started coming up cause she blames me and my games of everything, not mentioning when i get new hardware, every error she gets, she starts shouting that its all cause of my new HW.

well, only 2 new hardwares are ram stick and videocard, i doubt its cause of ram cause its now 2~ years old and its working fine, and videocard is Ati Radeon 9550 128mb, ill check thatone then, cause its only thing that could possibly do this then, and since one of the blue screens tells me something like duag4ati.dll or ati4duag.dll cant remember.

Nope, all fine with my card, it works for 32 bit and works on windows XP, not vista though, couldnt guess that1, was planning to upgrade computer and move to vista, guess its time to buy newone when directX 10 pops up

i also deleted now skype, gonna check and see how things works out now.
