Soundblaster audiopci 64/128 (wdm) ES1370wont work in xp

Is there anyway to get the above mentioned soundcard to work in winxp? Ive tryed downloading the stand-alone driver and the web driver from creative and neither work. I have a gateway mobo from a E-4200 and the driver from gateway doesnt work either. Been working on this all night. I also have sb audiopci es1371 if theres a driver for that 1. Just trying to get 1 of these to work before i go out and buy a brand new soundcard that prolly isnt much diff.
