Bye Bye OCZ

I've been having serious booting issues, literally taking upwards of 30 minutes to get a functional desktop, then locking up an hour later. Suspecting a memory problem, i ran 2 different memory test, one 1 night and 1 the next with no errors. I would get file system errors on bootup, chkdsk would find and "fix" all kinds of index files and security descripters but still wouldnt boot. This threw me off the memory trail for a couple days, i started blaming my hdd and even attempted a repair install. Much to my surprise, i couldnt. I could boot from the windows disk but before the first menu screen would load i would blue screen. I had another hdd laying around with windows already installed so i decided to pop it in and after 20 minutes of watching the loading bar, an angel descended upon me from the heavens and said "hey dumbass, it IS your memory". I thanked the angel, waved bye and ripped out my ram. I then robbed a stick of corsair from my wifes rig, snapped it in mine and presto! Booted from my original drive with no probs. I was running 2 512 sticks of ddr500 OCZ gold for maybe a year now and its already crapped out. The corsair im currently on is almost 3 years old and still kicking. OCZ was nice while it lasted but it just didnt last long enough, especially having a $250 price tag on it. Im replacing it with 2 gigs of kingston hyperx for half that.
