Im going to say your flyback transformer is loose inside your cabinet.

That or its a power component that is just not fastened down properly, or the monitor is stuggling to keep up with the refresh rates.

You can check for loose components in the case if you are mechanically adept. You can also take it in for repair. They should be able to check for a nominal fee. If its a small enough monitor, just replace it.

****CAUTION****
That flyback diode and transistor will KILL YOU. It is not for the faint of heart. That bad boy holds about 60,000 volts continually, even with the power cord unplugged. If you cross the wrong thing, or touch the wrong part, you will get knocked on your ass. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING INSIDE THAT MONITOR CABINET UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO TAKE THE RISK. You have been warned.

try changing the resolution that you play the game in, if you can avoid the noise by playing at a higher/lower resolution, you can save yourself some money
