Stuttering video stream

Occasionally when Im watching videos on the net they constantly pause and restart. I only have a 1 meg connection so could this be the problem?

This does sound like you can't download the video faster than you can play it.
Just pause the video and do something else while it downloads, then play it when its done so you can watch it without interruption.
If that doesn't solve the stuttering, then we'll check something else.

If you ISP advertises your package as 1 Mega bit (as opposed to byte) per second, then you'll be getting a little less than that, which isn't enough to download faster than the video can play.
