ok sorry but i posted summitn syaing i needed help to uninstall summint. n some one offered me the program, i downlaoded it n used it. unintsalled it, n deleated it.well the post has been removed for some reason. n i really need the same program again. i havent got the faintest clue what it was. but my problem is i have lord of the rings war of the ring installed on the pc. but alot of the files r missing, i cant run it, i cant uninstalll it. its just stuck. i stick the cd in, go to set up when exsplooring cd 1 n it doesnt work. so i need to deleate iot completel;y from my system to install again. plz help. thanks alot.

If its not in the Add/Remove Programs where it should be check under Start>Programs see if theres an uninstall in there.

I apologize for the misdirection:
You can do a search for files & folders from the "run", Start>Run, delete everything from there.
It should be
You can do a search for files & folders from the Start>Find>Files& Folders, delete everything from there.


You can also go into the registry and edit from there, Run>regedit>Edit>Find

Or you can use UninstallAbility

You can download Add/Remove Pro,this little app will search out all installed apps,full or partial ,and uninstall them for you.

Excuse my ignorance but Im having trouble following you.
Are you saying there is no install on the cd?
Have you tried this cd in another computer?
If you just purchased this game Im sure you can exchange for another just explain to them whats going on.

well this is my exzact problem.

i used to have war of the ring installed.
my pc messed up and i was unable 2 uninstall or play the game.
i incert cd 1 which is the install cd and i click setup. when set up comes up the install option is unselctable. so i cant click it. the only option i can do is uninstall. and it does uninstall it but it still wont let me install it again. does n e 1 know how 2 help? i dont think its the game as it worked first time. its my pc. i need 2 get rid of all the past files n stuff so i can install it as if it was my first time doing so. n e 1 know what i mean?
help me plz
