Any Exchange Server gurus out there??

I have just installed Exchange Server 2003 SP1, and have come acroos a spurious error when trying to create a new mailbox.. basically, Exchange Server fails to create the usual deafult mail address.. smtp, x.400 etc. etc..

an event is logged in event manager..

Can't find anything on MSKB or Technet.. wondered if any other admins have come across this one yet??
