Is there any way I can take a still from an .avi ?
...as in make a picture from a still from a vid ??

If the the Video is fullscreen...press PRINT SCRN key....

If the Video is in a reduced window...press ALT+PRNT SCRN

Now open MS PAINT
Pick a clear spot in the right window pain,right click,choose PASTE
If it comes up and says resize click yes...
The pic should now be in the Paint program ready for Editing or save it to your Hardrive as a .bmp,jpg or gif

I just brought up a video...tried it in a reduced window size...showed up blk....
Change the Video to Fullscreen...press ALT+ PRNT SCRN and it worked!!

I've done that b4 off MSN .... but I think that was on Nobby.... not sure why I got black n no picture this time..... it always worked that way... do a screenshot and then paste in Paint Shop Pro.... I guess things always go wrong when your in a hurry lol
