Postby venney » Fri Nov 12, 2004 10:48 am

Hello, i am getting an error now when trying to use bit torrent, it was working fine yesterday but the pc frooze so i had to restart it, and when i tryed to connect again i got the message

Error
Problem connecting to tracker - <urlopen error (10060, 'Operation timed out')>

so i left it on for 9 hours assuming that it would connect after a while, but it hasnt! so i just restarted the pc again and its still syaing the same error. Does any one know what this is?

Here's a link that explains your problem... but the fact that you've left it for 9 hours makes me wonder if it's some other problem... :|

Hey, i think it must be the actual torrents, i had 2 going but ive tryed a differnt 1 and thats working so i have no idea what it was. The other torrenrt worked fine tho. Go figure i suppose? lol

Ta for the 2 sites, have them both allready ofcourse! I havent changed any thing about my pc ether so i guess the torrents i was download must of just messed up.

get bittornado

Postby hue_jass » Sat Nov 13, 2004 4:32 pm

yea..... i had that problem venney......... with just the Regular BitTorrent Client.

I just got the BitTornado and so far no "error" problems.

Also, if that specific one is coming up.....its true that the tracker is down and there are no SEEDS
