minimized windows disappear...

On my system, on my better half's profile, when she open Paint shop pro 5 (PSP), it will open fine. But if she minimizes the window, it will disappear. She can maximize it by right clicking on the start bar PSP icon and choosing maximize from there.

Does anyone know how to fix this so we can minimize the PSP and use the application in a smaller window??

Couple of extra tidbits on this.. Windows XP home, dual monitor set up. And it works fine on My profile...

Well, I was able to "find" the minimized window by increasing the screen resolution. It then showed up on the right..... I moved it to the center and then reset my screen resolution...

Now my question is this: What would cause an application to be moved off the visual screen area...

BTW, I should also mention that when I say Minimized, I was meaning the use of the "restore down" button.....
