Hey im having a bit of a problem with windows media player recognizing dvd's its saying there is no disc in the drive.

i belive its something to do with the decoder but i forget exactly what i had to do the last time i faced this issue all help is very much appriciated thanks.

Here's a utility to check what, if any, dvd decoder you have installed.I've been looking around for a free one you can DL but not finding any.Even microsoft wants to charge for a decoder, thats just sad.

Just wanted to post the fix for this.

i found out this was due to realplayer. After uninstalling everything is running smooth.
