Postby robbro » Mon Feb 14, 2005 2:11 pm

I had this virus that was contained in java JAR folder, it was attached to 4 files in the JAR folder of java. I deleted all the 4 files, all my temp, uninstalled java, then reinstalled it. Now when i go control panel JAva its all blank :( grey blank box  . I dunno how to fix it ive tried everything i can think of.

Has anyone got any ideas :?:

robbro... for future reference... I've just had a similar 'virus' in the java jar folder on my old computer- 2 files. AVG didn't really do anything, it said the virus was there but took no action of any kind. I used Housecall (link at the top left of your screen) and it deleted it straightaway.
