File Download Box - IE

When downloading known file type like .doc, .pdf etc from web sites by clicking the associated hyperlink, Internet Explorer opens it in the associated application in IE interface.

Is there any setting in Windows, IE etc so that even for all know file types it will prompt for the File Download Dialog box, where user can specify the location and then the file gets saved there rather than opening in browser.

Try right clicking on the links and hitting "Save Target As".
