Postby PearlJamaholic » Wed Mar 16, 2005 12:55 am

well im pretty sure it does. i remember getting a question asking me if i want norton turn off XP firewall or some such and i said yes. now everytime i restart my computer xp firewall is off. i know you're not supposed to use 2 firewalls. but it just annoys and i went through all the norton options and i couldnt find anything to disable that.

thanks

If you want to get rid of that annoying notification go to Start-Settings-Control Panel-Security Center. Then on the left hand side of the window click on Change the way security center alerts me and uncheck Firewall.
