hi. anyone know a good program for ripping video from a computer game? i'm looking to rip video from FFXI for video editing, but the only program i know of takes about a gig for a minute of taping, which i don't have the room for. any information?

Fraps!!!
Fraps is a great program. You run it before you run the game, set up all the settings. When the video your want comes up, press F9 or what ever, and it will record until you press F9 again. Its for recording in game footage but i don’t see why it wouldn’t work for the movie your after. The free trial only records 30 seconds or so, so if it works and you need it ull need to get the full version.
