website question...

I've been trying to access a few websites and even an online game today. On the websites, when I put in my account information to log in, the page just refreshes and then my information is blank... I fill it in again, submit, and the page refreshes again. Also, on a site or 2 it tells me that I "timed out" I'm not sure what that means, but I was only on the login page for a second... If thats what timing out means lol.

Is there something I can do? Perhaps some setting that I might have screwed up somehow? I looked around in Internet Options but wasnt sure on what some of that stuff was, so I didnt touch it. Though, I'm really starting to get aggrivated so I might start doing that soon lol.
