Postby robbro » Sat Feb 16, 2008 5:47 pm

Just a question shud team fortress be chewing 100% of one of my cores for my quad core cpu ? :S just seems odd that its dedicating one processor to that game. is there anyway of spreading it over my 4 cores that i have ? if anyone knows if i can do that would be greatful :D

dunno its weird now cuz even on a 16 player server im getting fps when i never use to ... maybe the tf2 update messed me up ? :S ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers... still the same...

on a mmorpg like wow i get over 100fps and goes down to 75 fps most the time in main towns.... so something must be wrong.. i know wow isnt that graphically dependant as other games but it has more graphical images going on in town then tf does on a map like 2fort :s

venney tis a 8800 gts even with AA /AF on. people with similar system to me or lower get 100fps or more constant - then with a slight drop in 30 man servers! most reported a drop to 80 fps in 30 man servers i drop way below 80 :( . i would not mind at all on my system... but getting a drop in middle of 2fort to a little as 40/50, i dont think is on - somethings going wrong ...

soz bud, only a suggestion. That way you might be able to see if it is team fortress or maybe its a dodgy card or something.
