Okay. If you have an ISO of a game and than you burn it to a CD, you get the same thing. But, with protected games like Diablo II and a few others, if you burn the game it tells you to indert the disk. If they're pretty much a mirror image of eachother, why wouldn't the burned disc work?

Lol, the whole point of having copy protected cd's is so that if people copy there games they get stuck.
There are ways around it, but this isn’t really the place to discuss it. But what the copy protection does is check that the cd is a valid one, if it is, boom access allowed, if not, eh no.
But if you do know what your doing it isn’t too hard.

Lol, well there are things called game patches, which allow you to play games without the cd, but I think you are more going on about when u burn cds.
There are special patching tools which enable you to burn a disc and remove the copy protection (I think, not been a while since I looked into any of it).

All the copy protection is getting more advanced as well. But old games and patches are widely available, but.... illegal. Don’t forget that.

Lol, well the best way to do it would be to get a patch.
I'm not saying you should but that is a way around your problem. A patch could remove the disc check allowing you to play without the disc.

That's not the problem, unless there's a bnet crack. The point is to play online, free. That's what I'm kinda going for here, lol.

I know that Halo had private running servers, but most games dont. If you want online play id recommend buying games!!!

My compters are off more than yours are.

You come in here and start going through month old topics and replying to stuff that doesn't concern you.

I have no problem going to the store and buying my own RAM, but why over pay when I can get a deal with someone here? I use 266mhz RAM, and in store they're only selling 256mb and 512mb RAM at 300+mhz. Why would I bother paying the extra 50-100$ on that. It's a waste of money.

And FYI, liljim has exactly what I need and is sending it to me. That's the difference between store and online. I've known Jim for like.. 2 years. I did a favor for him and now he's doing a favor for me. In the process I save money that I've earned.

So perhaps you'll think before you bother typing anything again.
