Outlook Express Security

Postby jerry » Wed Jul 28, 2004 7:09 pm

 There is a person that knows how to setup their Outlook Express to see my internet provider server which is a DSL provider. This person does not know my DSL account password but knows my account name. It seems that they are using my internet provider server even though they do not have a DSL account and somehow receiving copies of my e-mail messages. I don't understand how this is possible without knowing my e-mail password but it is happening.

Does anyone have any ideas about how to stop this from happening. I called my internet provider and they suggested that I contact Microsoft but I got nothing from doing that.

Thanks in advance

An idea would be to change your DSL account name and password.

Thanks GG for the reply. I got the problem resolved, evidently the person had gone in and set up several sub-accounts under my sign on before I changed all the passwords. I went into my account and deleted all of those subs and the problem was solved.

thanks again,,,,,,,,
