where can i find the folder that my INBOX emails are stored in so i can drop them to a disc in one folder and one operation!!!

microsoft really puts this in a strange place most of the time. I am guessing you're talking about Outlook Express... here goes. Open Outlook express, go to the Tools Menu, and pick Options. Click on the Maintenance Tab, then the Store Folder button. That'll tell you where your e-mails are stored. Feel free to change it to a better location, as it's easier to remember to back up if you know where the data is without having to look for this post again.

thanks teststrips...........ive found them but they are saved as DBX files what do i open them with if i have saved them to a disk etc ????
