I use IE. I have my homepage set to Comcast.net because thats what I use as my email service. Every so often when I open up IE I click on the email button and a nothing happens. In the bottom left corner of the window an yellow triangle with and exclamation point comes up. I click on that and get a message, "Problems with the web page might prevent it from being displayed or functioning properly. etc" I hit the details tab, "Line: 1 Char: 1 Error: unspecified error Code: 0 URL: http://www.comcast.net/chsi.html

What confuses me is that sometimes everything works other times it doesn't. Its not just the email tab that doesn't work its basically everything. Every link on the site, any site I enter into the address bar, but links in my favorite places work. The comcast site works on other computers in my house and other browsers on my pc.

why is this??

I think it's because the Comcast site just really isn't that good. My mom and brother both had the exact same problem with the site. I still haven't found a solution.

Maybe try a different web broswer?

When a site gets busy (meaning it has lots of people accessing it) the scripts can fail to work. So I wouldnt worry that it is you, it's more then likely them. Comcast is famous for stuff like this anyway. :)

The best you can do is make sure you are up to date with patches from MS.

I just downloaded Mozilla firefox. So far the comcast site is working fine with it., even when it doesn't work with IE.

Smart move. Mozilla rocks.
