I hope this is the right spot to ask this! i would like to 86 this company. If anyone out there knows it, please, jump in and give me some info: www.buycheapsoftware.com
Also, does anyone know a SAFE place where one can download stuff to try it out? I downloaded WinZip's free software (FROM THEIR SITE) and it came with a piece of adware that I have not been able to get rid of, try as I may and which has caused me and still causes me trouble. I have followed ALL the instructions given and STILL the thing will not allow itself to be removed. If anyone knows of a sofware that would allow me to remove a stubborn critter that Norton 2005 won't remove, spybot search and destroy won't even detect and ad-aware won't detect either, let me know.

Not sure the 86 thing but I would go to the Hijackthis (HJY) section of this forum and follow the instructions there...

Basically it will have you do everything you've already done, and also to check for any and all critical updates for windows...

Then you will download the current versioin of HJT and post your log in that forum.... Do not have HJT fix anything untill after you post your log and then follow the instructions from the members.....

another thing you could do is give some comp specs and describe what the symptoms are that you're experiencing
