Accessing MS Works files from Word

[petalyn47]

Hello-

My old Win 98 computer is dead, along with some of my installed programs, including MS Works 95. I am now running Win XP, with Office Basic Edition 2003 including Exell.

Is it possible to convert Worrks .wps and .wdb files to open in Word and Exell?

I thought it should be, but all I get is a page load of noughts and crosses...............

Thanks

L

Microsoft has a you can download.
The other way that I know of is, in Word click File > New > Other documents tab > Batch conversion wizard.
