scanner default software change
Posted: Wed Nov 12, 2003 7:23 pmhow do i change the default software for my scanner. when i open the scanner lid a programme automatically opens, and i want to change it to another, anyone have any ideas
To keep the program from staring when you open the scanner lid you probably need to simply remove the scanner program from your startup folder in MSCONFIG. (Or uncheck it.)
To use another scanner program you'll need to review the support for that software. You'll probably have to remove the current software and install the new one. Check with the "new" software's support site.
