I recently got professional photos done and they were given to me on cd by the photographer. However, when I open up the disk and click on the file it will only let me run the application through a photodex slideshow.

I would like to extract these photos for myself. Any ideas ?

Its a ".exe" application file and runs with Photodex Presenter when clicked on.

thanks.

have you tryed making hidden files viewable?
Open the folder, click tools, then folder options.
Then go on the view tab, then go down to where it says Hidden files and folders, and put it on show hidden files. See if they appear then.

When your done do the same but hide the files again.

Yes I tried this....my PC is defaulted to show them anyway.

I may need some extraction software?

KenA,

Right click on your CD drive with the disk in and select "Explore"
You can know explore the disk, there should be a folder with the images inside of it, just look around on the disk.
