Aversoft Sticker problems - major problems...
Posted: Fri Feb 13, 2004 1:16 amI'm new here. I am having major problems with Aversoft Sticker program which is a reminder program.
If I, for example, set up a "sticky note" to remind me of an appointment and I set that note to show up on my computer at 9:00 a.m., and my computer *is not running* at 9:00 a.m., that note will go out into limbo never to be seen or heard from again.
Now, sometimes on it's first run, it will show up, but let's say, it is a reocurring appointment, so you hit the "Hide" button to have it repeat in 7 hours. And you make sure all your buttons are checked properly for it to repeat. And you then hit "Hide" If your pc is turned off when it is time for the note to come out of "Hiding", you definitely will not see it again -- ever. I've missed two appointments because of this happening.
I've emailed Aversoft's Techinical Support team as weklkl as copying their info@aversoft.com for about two weeks now. Even though I am a registered, paying customer, they totally ignore my emails requesting their help.
Has anyone used this program? If so, have you had this problem and can you tell me why this is happening or what I am diong wrong?
