Postby Jokebook » Sun Oct 26, 2003 11:24 pm

If you are behind a router is there anyway that you can host a game...

question 2

My friend lives downstairs uses the same internet company as i do....he is not behind a router and has a static ip...he hosts a game online WC3

But neither i nor the other person sharing the router can join the game.....however we have no problems joining other games....

thanks in advance

If you are behind a router, you can host a game. You must statically map the ports the game uses back to the PC hosting the game.

I don't know what the problem is with your friends game he is hosting. Can you ping his IP?
