Can someone tell me what the required specs are for battlefield 2?

I cant get this game to work... it loads like its gonna play then it just goes back to my desktop.

Minimum Requirements:
(subject to change):
Windows XP
P4 1.2 GHz or equivalent
512MB RAM
64MB DirectX 9 video card
Broadband Internet connection
DVD-ROM drive (for DVD version)

Ummm, update all your graphics drivers and get the latest BF2 patch.

Also, instead of using the "Play Battlefield 2 Online Now!" short cut, use the "Battlefield 2" one, then select Online.

Mine doesn't work for the Online Now one, and I know a few other people have had troubles with it.

See if it works with the other one. Unless you've tried both already...

Hello.
I belive i have the same thing, only mine does it with single player.
It used to work, now when i click load map to start a single player map it just cuts to my desktop like you say yours does.
All i can recommend is uninstalling it and re-installing it, thats what i plan to do, ive just not go round to it.

Let me know if it works, the games ace.

i think i will reinstall, right after i reformat and reinstall windows xp.
i messed up and installed xp on my D drive and it only had like 5 gigs of space in it,
so i had enuf room for BF2 and 1 other program and when i went to install the BF2 update
it didnt have enuf room.
i tryd to install into other drive but i keep getting error msg saying:....drive unsafe...

im starting all over... but i'll be back wen i finish
