If you think the games look awesome now just wait until next year. At E3 I was blessed being able to play the Gears of War demo. I was just blown away. When I walked away I was left with my jaw dropping.

I have a PC that cost around £1500 as you will know if you read my thread about it. Anyway, my PC destroys the performance of the Xbox360. I've played call of duty 2 on a HD TV. But it wasnt a 1920x1080 screen, only 1280x720 or that stupid 1366 x 768 res. The whole game looked like if I had set my PC version to medium and low for the graphic settings. At that bit where the tanks go over head, the frame rate was like 15 fps. I'll accept that the cost of an 360 (core - £209.99, Premium - £279.99, from www.gameplay.com) is far better performance than a PC at that cost, but I bet my bro's PC (cost him £800, AMD 3700, 6800GS, 2GB RAM) has better performance than the 360, and he can do far more than a 360 so it's worth the extra money.

Keyboard and mouse FTW XD

But to be fair, you'll have to constantly upgrade your computer to be able to play the most recent games, which will mean even more money.

With a 360, this won't be a problem. And also xbox has the whole Xbox Live thing which seems pretty cool. As far as consoles go at the moment I think it's the best one. But i'm not sure how it will compare to the PS3 and the Wii. I think it will do better than the PS3 on it's launch date, because of the stupidly high price of the PS3, and i'm hoping that the Wii will do better than both because it sounds awesome.

I won't have to constantly upgrade. I will if I want to have maxed out settings. When the newer games come out they'll still run better on my PC.
Now xbox live, what is that? Obvioulsy its to do with online play but how is it different to me logging onto a game and then just using the server browser to get into game?
