is there a way to install 2 instances of games in different directory? i mean without messing up with the registry...

for example, i want to install nfsu2 on
C:\nfsu2-1
and another on
C:\nfsu2-2.

nfsu2 is installed twice.

the purpose is unimportant. i have found another way to do it, well kinda... but i just want to ask if this is possible

no... i used nfsu2 just as an example

what i mean is

i would install nfsu2 TWICE, on different directories, and not messing up the registry.

because what i think will happen is that the NEW installation will overwrite the registry values for the OLDER installation, so it wouldnt work anymore.

O, so you want to install a program 2 times on the same hard drive and neither of them effect the other. Strange thing to want to do lol.

The only way i could see you putting it on the same hard drive would be to partition it into 2 seperate harddrives, ie a 1gig hard drive partitioned to two 500mb hard drives, mind you im not the one to ask how to do that.
And then still you may even get the problem with the registry.

Soz mate i cant help you, i looked around a bit on the net but i coudlnt find anything
