As you may know i have a ps2 and a N64 but ive a new console 2 my collection, ive allways considered the Gamecube kind of kid-like, but then i saw the trailor for the new Zelda game, now being a fan of Zelda links awakaning on the game boy and Ocarena of time on N64 i was like mmm lushus, so i basically thought hell il buy a gamecube, so i got to lookin round for prices, looked on ebay, and i came across a gamecube which looked a bit good 2 be true.
Platinum Gamecube, 1 platinum controller, Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker + Bonus disk (containing Ocarena of time + master quest virsion of Ocarena of time). Price Buy now - £30. Too good to be true i thought, but i mailed the seller n he explained that he needs money quickly, so hell that was a good enough reason for me, so i baught it. I mailed him and he diddnt mail back :S Until yesterday morning (i baught it on last friday), well yesterday afternoon my mum went n picked a parcel up from local post office for me (we werent in to recive it), i got home at about 10 to find a platinum gamecube!!! Its well nice, great condition, and for 35 quid!
The gamecube is actually from france, this makes no differnce to me as its still PAL and it came with a french to english adaptor thing, Zelda's box is all french but the game obv has language select so its fine, so i basically got a great deal.
Ive been reading up on some mods for the gamecube, im thinking of getting the Viper Mod chip fitter, only i need to find somewhere close in Uk 2 southampton who will fit it, or somewhere i can send off in the Uk and get it fitted, so if any one can find a site within Uk that fits Gamecube Mod chips please PM me, well i also have read about the LED mod where u change the LED color, its orange at the moment, but me and my mate simon who does electronics are going to change it to green (i think im still deciding weather to do it or not). I also added a pciture into the disklid, not very sucessfully so im gonna buy 2 more from nintendo n have another crack at it, ive taken some pictures so heres the pictures of my beauty.
Pic 3 n 4 arent very good so i included both so u can kinda see what its like, what does every 1 think of it? Any one else have a gamecube? I may atteempt to amend the LID DISK job i did, paint some black next to mario, because its kind-of a bit faded where i had to sand it and mario isnt actually on that part if you get me.
