I get a very random cs(counterstrike) crash. it could not crash some instances, and then again it could 2 or 3 times a sitting. Its very random. Lets see, details, i'll play sometimes it will freeze for about 3 seconds with a looping sound (for the same amount of time) and then crash to desktop, and others it will freeze for a sec, and just crash to desktop. Both with no errors at all. its happened for a long time, just thought id fix it, cuz its annoying =\. Ive played bf2, no problem there, so i dunno what else to do.

specs:
Amd Barton 3200 2.2ghz
2- 512 sticks of pc2700 DDR corsair memory Dual Channel
ati Radeon X800XT all in wonder (recently updated from ati 9800 sapphire)
abit nf7 mobo
onboard nvidia sound(also tried installing sblaster live 5.1 to see if there was an audio video conflict =\)
Windows XP service pack 2
Samsung 753DF (crt) monitor

Ive tried reformatting, and reinstalling everything. No clue what the problem could be. If u need more info on anything, let me know.

My friend had a problem with this last year. A few questions just so i know.

1. Do you have a firewall up?
2. Antivirus Program?
3. Is it ever choppy when it DOESN"T crash out?
4. Are you overclocking anything?
5. Is your computer overheating?

Get back to me on those.
