Early 90's game console???

Was wondering if someone can help me find the name of a game and the console it worked on...

The game was similar to the Play Station's Allied General, but it had a more futuristic theme. Played with the hexagon overview type map, and individual battles were profiled from the side showing the terrain...

The game system came out around the time of the Super NES but don't know if it was before or after....

The game "cartridge" was a smart card or ICC card like you can see here

Can anyone help me out here??

Good on ya

There were a few smart card "cartridges" used in a few of these systems..

Sorry, though, that it was rated as one of the "Top Ten Worst Consoles" lol, let me know if that was what you were looking for.

Hue...

I just love it when an old post comes up out of nowhere... I had forgotten about this thread, and once again, I'm curious!!

That was a good find on some bad consoles... but I'm afraid to say, the one I'm looking for, wasn't one of them...

Thanks for the try though....

I just got in touch with an old friend who was the brother to the owner of this old game.... I'll try and find out what it was through him....

Good on ya, and Happy Holidays!!!

Just got this info from the friend whose brother owned that game and console...

"It was for the turbo graphixs, and was called Military Madness. It did come out for the Playstation and was titled Necturis (sp?) Unfortunately it flopped and is very difficult to find."

So... Now my search will continue to find this game... Maybe I'll find an old copy cheap... So if you see this game out there... Let me know

Good on ya
