im sorry, should have explained that better. Usually its listed as CPU Frequency or Clock Speed and it should be set to 400.

well i just told you wrong, leave it set on 200. It multiplies by 2 giving you an actual bus speed of 400. I am so sorry for that.

200 in the bios means 400 in reality and hyper threading increases it from there X5. Again i apologize. I hate to draw this conclusion but im afraid the video is bad on the board. Another test you can do is if you have a pci video card laying around is to install it and see in the monitor clears up.

I have two motherboards and both have the same prob is that common never hear of it but then again i don't kow much

I couldnt call that common at all

Now you did say that you tried another monitor and had the same result..
Are you using CRT monitors or a flat panel LCD monitors?
Was it a different video cable going from the pc to the monitor also?

yuo tryed new monitor and it is a CRT it also was a different cable the cables don't come off the monitors

Might I suggest that you download

This is a small program that will monitor you system temperatures and fan speeds.
It's the easiest way I know of to find out if you have a heat of fan issue.

i downloaded it. I talked to a guy and he said somthing about nivivdi has 2 kinds of nidoe drivers somthing about nividia 6100 crivers and somtimes G force 4 drivers. Would that apply to me thought i would ask. IT's asking me install the MBM IO DRIVER 32bit in that program i downloaded

When i go to install the mb program tells me i have to install that to go on it that ok to do that

Go ahead and allow motherboard monitor to install, it will also ask for internet access if you have a firewall.
Please grant MBM access to the internet as this will help you setup the program for your motherboard.

If I understand right, you installed a new motherboard and just rebooted with your old operating system that was used with the old motherboard.

You can only replace a motherboard of the exact same model with XP or 2000.

I believe that you are going to have to install windows over the top on that install in order to re enumerate the drivers. The process removes the old drivers and installs the new ones. Its a real pain in the butt, but its the only way short of a new install.

Does your install cd have service pack two on it or not?
