If I understand right, you installed a new motherboard and just rebooted with your old operating system that was used with the old motherboard.
You can only replace a motherboard of the exact same model with XP or 2000.
I believe that you are going to have to install windows over the top on that install in order to re enumerate the drivers. The process removes the old drivers and installs the new ones. Its a real pain in the butt, but its the only way short of a new install.
Does your install cd have service pack two on it or not?
